History of Operation: Seraph's Shield

Overview

Operation: Seraph's Shield is the Exotic mission of Season of the Seraph (Season 19). Guardians infiltrate Seraph Station in Earth's orbit (the Seraph Facility) to plant a virus in the Warsat network and fight the Fallen House of Salvation. It supports 1-3 players. This is the Normal variant (power 1580 in the game data) with no modifiers; Expert and Legend variants are listed separately: Operation: Seraph's Shield (Expert), Operation: Seraph's Shield (Legend).

Launching

The mission unlocks after step 23 of the seasonal quest "More Than A Weapon" (speak to Elsie Bray at the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.), which also starts the Exotic quest "The Hidden Shape" for Revision Zero. Encounters and mechanics

Per TheGamer the mission runs through the launch facility, boarding Seraph Station, a decontamination/security section, the officer's lounge, a capture sequence, a Ketch escape, the Warsat command nexus and finally a bridge fight with the boss Praksis. The mission reuses the Deep Stone Crypt-style augment buffs: Scanner (highlights objects), Operator (opens red control panels by shooting them) and Suppressor (staggers invulnerable enemies with Suppressor Rounds).

Rewards

Revision Zero (Exotic pulse rifle, craftable after extracting the pattern from the first Normal clear) plus seasonal weapons and armor from the Season of the Seraph loot pool, including the IKELOS reprisals. Revision Zero's intrinsic upgrades (catalysts) come from repeat clears, with more per Legend clear.
