Overview

Onslaught: Salvation is the main activity of Episode: Revenant Act 1: a wave-based defence update of Onslaught. It has three corrupted maps, Widow's Court, Eventide Ruins and Kell's Grave, with Revenant Scorn, Shadow Legion Cabal and Dread sent by Fikrul. Three new Defences were added.

It is an overhaul of the original Onslaught. Players choose between a 10-wave playlist for quick runs and a 50-wave node for more challenge and loot. Expert Onslaught requires a Light Level of 2030.

Maps

All three have been taken over by Fikrul's Darkness-based influence. Each map is a defence of the Advanced Defense Unit (ADU), which has to be protected against each wave.

Enemies

  • Revenant Scorn: vampiric Scorn, a new enemy type in this activity.
  • Shadow Legion: a new Cabal faction.
  • Revenant Barons: these appear in the wave 6 and wave 10 break rounds. They guard captive Eliksni in Fikrul's Nests, and they can revive after death unless their totem is destroyed. They are harder on higher difficulties.

Defences

Scrap is earned by scoring and spent on defences at the start of each set and after the 3rd and 6th waves. Defences can be upgraded after certain waves, and the original Onslaught defences are still available. The three new Defences are:

  • Stasis-lined Tripwires
  • Operable Turrets, which players can sit in and aim
  • Air Strikes

ADU batteries dropped by enemies can be thrown to repair the ADU or the defences.

Rewards

  • Shadestalker armour sets for all three classes.
  • Salvation weapons, including Liturgy, Exuviae, Red Tape and Sovereignty.
  • Vintage Salvation weapons, which are reprised Season of the Splicer guns with updated perks.
  • Onslaught weapons cannot drop as craftable red borders. They must be farmed, though they can be Enhanced. There is a slim chance of an already-Enhanced copy with double perks in each column.
  • Onslaught runs earn Apothecary Eido reputation and large amounts of Reagents.
  • Enriching Flakes drop only in Onslaught: Salvation.
  • Onslaught Enriching Tonics raise the drop chance for Onslaught and Vintage Onslaught weapons, along with Shadestalker armour.
