History of Omnioculus

Omnioculus is an Exotic Hunter chest armor piece introduced in Season of the Chosen. Tagline: "See the danger, even when it cannot see you."

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, "Beyond the Veil", grants a second Smoke Bomb charge and damage resistance while invisible (Game Rant: 50%, 10% in PvP). Making an ally invisible gives them the resistance and refunds you melee energy. Game Rant suggests pairing it with the Trapper's Ambush and Stylish Executioner aspects on Nightstalker and Echo of Persistence.

Acquisition

• Legend or Master Lost Sectors on days that drop Exotic chest armor; once you own it, copies can come from Exotic engrams.
• Xûr has sold it (per Destinypedia).
• Exotic Armor Focusing at Master Rahool (in-game source).
