History of Omega Mechanos Cloak

Overview

Omega Mechanos Cloak is a Legendary Hunter cloak (the Hunter class item). The set's flavor text is a recurring Sagira quote about the Vex: that they do not want to kill you, and that death is a by-product of conversion. The Cloak is the Hunter class item; its text asks what happened to make the Vex this way. It is a cosmetic-leaning armor piece with no named perk or god roll in the sources I used.

Acquisition

Destinypedia records the Omega Mechanos set as a Legendary armor set sold through Tess Everis at the Eververse Trading Company as Illuminated Engrams in Season 2, the period after the Curse of Osiris expansion. The wiki data for this page lists Bright Engrams as its source. It was later converted into universal ornaments, so the look can be applied to other armor in the same class. Each class has its own piece names: Hunter (Mask, Grasps, Vest, Strides, Cloak), Titan (Helm, Gauntlets, Plate, Greaves, Mark) and Warlock (Crown, Gloves, Robes, Boots, Bond).
