History of Notes On Observation

Overview

Notes On Observation is a Triumph in Destiny 2, added with The Edge of Fate. It is a lore-card triumph: completing it records the lore entry of the same name from the book Tenets of AION.

Series

Tenets of AION is a lore book of nine entries, written as a transcription of an official document on the culture of the Aionians, the descendants of AION's initiative who live on Kepler. Its entries come in pairs of a Tenets of entry and a Notes on entry, followed by A Conclusion:

Lore

The entry traces how humans have watched the stars, from oral tradition to writing and navigation. AION's predecessors studied the stars and their gravitational effects, then found an unexplained phenomenon they named the Kepler Object. Instead of dismissing the readings as error, they trusted their instruments and investigated, which led them to Kepler, where they heard the whisper of the Anomaly. The entry is written in the first-person plural from AION's point of view and closes by urging continued careful observation.

How to unlock

Entries of Tenets of AION unlock as you progress through the Edge of Fate campaign. The triumph's single objective is Progress (0/2).
