History of No Time to Explain

No Time to Explain is an Exotic Kinetic Pulse Rifle (High-Impact Frame). It references the Exo Stranger's meme line, and the casing is etched with the word "Now".

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, "Rewind Again", returns precision shots and shots at targets slowed or frozen by Stasis to the magazine. After enough such shots it opens a portal that fires bullets from an alternate-timeline version of the weapon, similar to Arc Souls.

Acquisition

• Deluxe Edition bonus: granted with the Beyond Light pre-order/Deluxe Edition, with its catalyst.
• Destinypedia and Destiny Tracker also say it can be acquired after finishing the Beyond Light campaign; neither source nor the in-game text is specific on the current route, and a pre-order bonus may now be obtained through the Exotic Kiosk or Monument to Lost Lights. Check in-game.

Catalyst

Getting 700 kills with the weapon masterworks its catalyst, which gives "Blast from the Side": the alternate-timeline portal fires more often. Some guides link the catalyst to the Exotic quest "Soon" from the Exo Stranger; I could not verify that on a source I opened.
