History of Nexus Guardian

Overview

Nexus Guardians are a unique variant of Vex Harpy that first appeared in the Expunge missions of Season of the Splicer. They belong to the Sol Collective and serve as protectors of the Vex Network.

Role in Expunge

• Expunge: Labyrinth: Nexus Guardians are Elite-tier enemies. Each one drops a Data Spike when killed, which players carry to a nearby terminal to disable barriers and advance.
• Expunge: Styx: They appear as Major-tier enemies that maintain the Vex barriers holding the Authentication Keys needed to disable other gates.
• Expunge: Delphi: Delphi combines the three corrupted Expunge activities, and the Harpies serve the same purposes they do in Labyrinth and Styx.
