History of New Purpose

Overview

New Purpose is a legendary Stasis Pulse Rifle in the Kinetic slot, a High-Impact Frame firing 340 rounds per minute. The curated roll is Arrowhead Brake, Extended Mag, Perpetual Motion and Desperado, with Bitterspite as the origin trait. Random rolls can include Feeding Frenzy, Headstone and Vorpal Weapon. The Loadout's pick is Desperado with Heating Up, Arrowhead Brake and High-Caliber Rounds, or Headstone for Stasis builds.

Acquisition

New Purpose drops from the final encounter of the Duality dungeon, the fight against Caiatl in the Nightmare realm, where it shares the table with Fixed Odds and the exotic Heartshadow sword. It came with Season of the Haunted. The wiki does not list it as craftable.
