History of Nether Secrets

Overview

Nether Secrets is a triumph worth 5 points. It requires collecting the mysterious chess pieces found through the secrets of The Nether.

How to complete

1. Find secrets while running The Nether. Completing a secret, such as the Toland orbs, hidden platforms or the Flaming Plate minibosses, also contributes triumph progress.
2. Nine of the chess pieces in the Nether are locked behind secrets. Discovering a secret gives a chance at a chess piece as a reward.
3. Repeat secrets across fresh runs. The Toland secret is a good first target, then relaunch the Nether in Private to try again.
4. Keep the Wombo Detector equipped on your Ghost to spot hidden chests and resources nearby.

Trivia

Collecting all 60 chess pieces across the game unlocks the separate triumph The Opening, which also grants some Strange Coins.
