History of Nessus Angler

Overview

Nessus Angler is a Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to fishing on Nessus. It requires catching every Rare or better fish that can be caught on Nessus.

How to complete

Fish in the Fishing Ponds in The Cistern on Nessus. Bait comes from salvage and deep dives, strikes, Gambit, Crucible, patrols, public events, and collecting a planet's resources, and you can hold up to 500.

The Exotic fish on Nessus is the Vexing Placoderm. The Cistern water is electrified, so standing in it damages you over time. Kheprian Axehead also appears in Nessus fishing ponds.

Tips

• Carry at least 100 Bait per Exotic fish you are hunting, since Exotic fish have very low spawn chances.
• Deposit caught fish at the H.E.L.M. aquarium. Doing so earns the Broken Blade of Ambition, a Wicked Implement component.

Season

Fishing was introduced in Season of the Deep. The Nessus fishing quest Fishing Rally: Nessus was offered in Week 6 of that season by Suraya Hawthorne in the Tower, and it rewards fish caught in The Cistern.
