History of Ne Plus Ultra

Overview

Ne Plus Ultra is a Triumph in Destiny 2 in the Desert Perpetual raid seal. It requires completing every encounter of the Epic version of The Desert Perpetual with feats active. The Epic version was added with the Ash & Iron update on September 27, 2025, with encounter mechanic changes, environmental changes in the hub, and an alternate final boss, Koregos, Fractured in Time.

How to complete

Run the Epic version of The Desert Perpetual and defeat Agraios, Epoptes, Iatros and Koregos with feats active. The feats are:

• Phase Race: each boss must be defeated within 2 phases instead of 3, or the game triggers a wipe.
• Token Limit: the team shares 3 revives in total.
• Cutthroat Combat: enemies are at Contest Mode level and bosses have increased health.
• Encounter Challenges: complete each boss's challenge, since any mistake can cause a wipe.
• Battalions: new enemies and Banes appear during each boss fight.

The seal's other Epic-version triumph, In Perpetuity, requires completing the Epic raid.
