History of Nasreddin

Overview

Nasreddin is a Legendary Sword that deals Arc damage. It is classified as a Weapon in the game. The weapon's description states: "This weapon was forged by Devrim Kay VIII for the survivors."

Acquisition

The item is obtained from random sources. It cannot be reacquired from Collections.

Nasreddin was originally an Uncommon sword. It was reissued as a Legendary sword during Season of Defiance. It is the only Uncommon sword in the game.

The sword features specific Blade Perks and Guard Perks. The blade perks include Jagged Edge, which provides increased damage at the cost of ammo, and Enduring Blade, which offers greatly increased ammo at the cost of damage. The guard perk is Enduring Guard, which grants high endurance but low resistance.

The weapon is named after a Muslim folk character of the same name, who often appeared as comedic relief. Due to the thousands of his appearances, depictions of the character vary. Nasreddin appears in Destiny 2.
