History of Monte Carlo Catalyst

Overview

Monte Carlo Catalyst is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to defeat 700 targets while using the Monte Carlo catalyst. Completing the triumph awards no additional rewards or score points beyond the triumph itself.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must defeat 700 targets while the Monte Carlo catalyst is active. The catalyst is an equipable modifier for Grenade Launchers that alters the behavior of thrown grenades.

1. Obtain the Monte Carlo catalyst.
2. Equip the catalyst on a compatible Grenade Launcher.
3. Defeat 700 targets while the catalyst is equipped.

The progress tracker for this triumph is labeled "Targets defeated (0/700)". Defeating enemies with weapons or abilities while the catalyst is active contributes to the total count. The specific mechanics of how the catalyst affects grenade trajectories or damage are not detailed in the triumph description, only that the catalyst must be in use during the defeat.
