History of Modern Major General

Overview

Modern Major General is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires completing three Major Fieldwork activities. Major Fieldworks are offered by Eido in the Episode: Revenant content. Completing each one unlocks a Tonic Upgrade with extra benefits.

How to complete

1. Complete any three Major Fieldworks. Five are available in Act 1, and each one is a separate activity:

• Major Fieldwork I is Blood Drive on Europa. It has a chance to reward uncommon reagents.
• Major Fieldwork II is Extraordinary Tonics on Nessus. It improves the chance to synthesize higher-tier tonics.
• Major Fieldwork III is Performance Bonus in the EDZ. It rewards reagents and reputation for the bonus objectives in Onslaught: Salvation.
• Major Fieldwork IV is Bounty Harvester on the Moon. Completed daily bounties reward reagents.
• Major Fieldwork V is Revenant Recycler on Neptune. Dismantling Revenant weapons rewards reagents.

1. For reagent income, start with Blood Drive and Revenant Recycler. Then pick the rest based on need: Extraordinary Tonics if you already have plenty of reagents, or Performance Bonus or Bounty Harvester if you are running low.

The Act 1 list comes from an October 2024 guide, so the activities may have changed since.
