History of Metamorphosis Solo Mastery

Metamorphosis Solo Mastery is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires completing the Metamorphosis Lost Sector on Master difficulty without a Fireteam. Completing it awards 5 score.

Metamorphosis is a Lost Sector in Miasma on the Throne World.

Complete the normal Metamorphosis first and reach 1510 Power. Only then do the Legend and Master versions appear in the Director. Recommended Power for Master was 1590 in 2022 and changes with each season.
Run the sector solo. Completing Legend or Master Lost Sectors solo is the only way to get several specific Exotic armor pieces.
Master adds Scorched Earth, so enemies throw grenades much more often. It also adds Attrition, which slows your regeneration and can leave wells of Light when enemies die, and Equipment Locked, which stops you from changing your loadout once the activity starts.
At the entrance, stun the Overload Champions and kill them quickly. Do not push forward too early, because that spawns Screebs behind you.
In the boss room, clear the Ravagers, the Unstoppable Abomination and the Champions first. Then break the arena crystals to expose the Chieftain. Damage it quickly: it spawns more Ravagers as its health drops. A strong Arc heavy weapon or a Super can one-shot it.
Open the chest after the boss to finish the Lost Sector.
