History of Message to Aunor

Overview

Message to Aunor is a triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the lore book The Warlock Aunor, added in Season of the Drifter. Unlike the other entries, it is the Guardian's own reply to the Praxic Warlock Aunor Mahal.

Message

The Guardian composes an encrypted message to Aunor of the Praxic Order. It includes a short statement of solidarity, transcripts of conversations with the Drifter, and data on the Drifter's Gambit Prime and Reckoning operations.

The message also contains specifications for a modified Gambit bank and engram prints of the ontological armor forged at the Drifter's direction. The Ghost's spectral analysis suggests the Drifter's resources now extend into an unknown world within the Haul. The Ghost links it to the Third Spire, the trial grounds of the Nine. The chapter ends with the Guardian accepting whatever the future brings with a clear conscience.

How to unlock

1. Collect the Aunor messages that arrive in the Postmaster.
2. Archive each message with X. This opens the book under Stolen Intelligence in the lore section.
3. Entries unlock as the investigation into the Drifter progresses.

Tips

This entry sits between message V and message VI in the book, so read it in that order.
