History of Memoranda, 1966

Overview

Memoranda, 1966 is a Triumph in Destiny 2 added with the Monument of Triumph update in June 2026. Its only objective in the game data is progress 0/3. It has no listed rewards.

Lore

The triumph is tied to a lore document in the Recovered Materials, Old Chicago book. The document is a set of internal memos dated 1966 from several researchers. One memo reports the death of a colleague that shook the department. Another announces extra funding for a project, and a third orders the team to narrow its focus to protecting people exposed to an extradimensional exotic matter, since the evidence suggests the matter took two missing personnel. A final memo reports traces of the matter near a phone and at the site where one of them disappeared, and transfers another researcher to the team.
