History of Mechaneer's Tricksleeves

Mechaneer's Tricksleeves are Exotic Hunter gauntlets built around Sidearms.

Overview

Its exotic perk, "Spring-Loaded Mounting", increases Sidearm ready and reload speed. While you are critically wounded, swapping to a Sidearm also increases its damage. Destinypedia notes that since Update 7.3.0 the damage bonus lasts 5 seconds after your shields recharge, and kills and reloads extend it. Armor slot: Gauntlets (Hunter).

Acquisition

• Exotic engrams and extremely rare world drops.
• Xûr sells it for Legendary Shards when it is in his inventory. The wikis disagree on price (Destinypedia says 10, the Destiny 2 Wiki says 23), so check the vendor in game.
• Once acquired it can be re-obtained from your Collections.

Sources also disagree on the season it debuted (Destinypedia lists no season, the Destiny 2 Wiki lists Season 1).
