History of Marked by the Void

Overview

Marked by the Void is a debuff affecting Guardians sent through the time gates during Vault of Glass’s Gatekeeper and Atheon sections. In the Gatekeeper phase, the portal team defeats the Gatekeeper and takes the Relic; the Relic holder uses its cleansing ability to clear the mark. During Atheon, the Relic holder likewise cleanses the returning portal team. This is distinct from Mark of Negation, the separate debuff associated with Fanatics and Oracles in other Vault encounters.
