History of Map Fragments

Map Fragments are a material from Season of Plunder. They are combined with Treasure Coordinates in the Captain's Atlas to restore Treasure Maps, which allow bonus treasure to be dug up at the end of an Expedition.

Obtaining

Each Ketchcrash completion rewards 10 Map Fragments. Reaching Star Chart rank 13 before resetting once, and rank 4 after resetting at least once, each grant 5. The stack maximum is 50.

Use

A basic Treasure Map costs 5 Map Fragments and 50 Treasure Coordinates; Treasure Coordinates come from core activities such as Strikes, Crucible and Gambit. After the Expedition boss, three green marks around the end chest can be dug up with an active map. See also Treasure Haul.
