History of Man o' War

Overview

Man o' War is a Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle that deals Solar damage. Its flavor text reads, "Do not enter my realm and expect to leave unscathed."

The weapon features the Precision Frame intrinsic property, which fires a long-range precision energy bolt with a more predictably vertical recoil pattern. It possesses the Moving Target trait, which increases movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.

Available barrel attachments include Fluted Frame, which greatly increases handling speed and slightly increases stability; Polygonal Rifling, which increases stability; and Corkscrew Rifling, which slightly increases range, stability, and handling speed. Magazine upgrades include Projection Fuse, which increases range, and Accelerated Coils, which decrease impact damage.

Acquisition

Man o' War is obtained from Asher Mir upon completion of the Io World Quest King's Shadow. This quest is part of the World Quest "Dynasty." The weapon appears in Destiny 2.
