History of Major Boon

A Major Boon is a tier of boon earned in The Nether, the activity introduced in Episode: Heresy. Major Boons are earned by completing objectives within a Nether area. Destinypedia does not list their specific effects.

Players can carry up to six non-Minor Boons at once, and that limit covers Major and Corrupted Boons together. Major and Corrupted Boons also grant bonus progress toward the Nether Rites triumph. See also Major Boon Collector for the triumph tied to them.
