History of Lurker

Overview

A Lurker is a shield-bearing Scorn warrior, a mid-range combat unit in the Scorn hierarchy. Lurkers are corrupted Fallen resurrected through Dark Ether by the Fanatic Fikrul.

Lurkers are the third Destiny 2 enemy type to use shields, after the Cabal Phalanx and the Hive Vanquisher. They carry small energy shields and use arc-charged staves. Their shields appear to be made of condensed Arc energy, and they are considerably easier to defeat than Phalanxes.

Variants

• Minor Lurkers: the standard form.
• Elite Lurkers: enhanced shields and health.
• Corrupted Lurkers: found in Ascendant challenges.

Weak points

Lurkers have lower health and smaller shields than the Phalanx. Their heads and legs are exposed, and shooting their limbs can stagger them.

Locations

Lurkers appear in the Dreaming City, the Tangled Shore (vaulted), the Presage mission (vaulted), and in seasonal Scorn activities.
