History of Longest Winter

Overview

Longest Winter is the exotic perk on Coldheart Trace Rifle. While the beam is at its peak damage, the weapon periodically generates Ionic Traces on hits. Each one restores Ability and Super energy. The beam deals more damage the longer it stays on one target, from the intrinsic Cold Fusion.

One database says the damage scales up to 80% more as the beam charges, and that reaching full energy grants 100 Stability and 100 Reload Speed. Those figures are from a database updated in January 2026, and older wiki text gives no figure. Verify them in-game.
