Overview

Locus of Wailing Grief is a Nightfall set in the icy ruins of a Dark Age castle in the European Dead Zone. It draws on the Warlord's Ruin dungeon, where the Locus is the second encounter: a Taken Ogre boss. Sources I opened cover only the dungeon encounter, not a Nightfall version; Nightfall-specific details are unverified.

Dungeon encounter (for reference)

Shoot the floating Taken orb to spawn the boss and adds; kill yellow-bar Taken and Scorn chieftains, then capture points to earn fire charges and dunk them in four braziers. A "Biting Cold" debuff stacks to wipe at 10 and is cleansed near lit torches. Each lit fire grants about 14 seconds of damage. Boss has a head weakspot.
