History of Lii'liks, Harvester of the Witness

Lii'liks, Harvester of the Witness is a large Scorn Abomination of the Fallen species, rank Ultra. It is the main antagonist and final boss of the Wild Card mission in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, its first appearance. Controlled by the Witness, it harvests Dark Ether, taints it, and uses it to engorge Screebs.

Lii'liks aimed to corrupt the Pale Heart and its inhabitants. Tainted Screebs were sent across it to explode and corrupt the land, or to be eaten by War Beasts, which were then corrupted. Tainted Dark Ether also corrupted Shanks, causing them to turn on their handlers.

In the Wild Card fight, in a cave at the Transgression, Lii'liks summons Taken and mini Screebs. After losing a third of its health it retreats behind an Immunity Shield. Guardians must kill Screebs to collect ten pieces of Dark Ether and deposit them in a barrel to lure it back, and this cycle repeats until it is defeated. Cayde-6 and Crow finally killed it with a cave-in after its own tainted Screebs drained its defenses.
