History of Lightkin Gauntlets

Overview

Lightkin Gauntlets is a Legendary armor piece from the Season of the Splicer Lightkin set, built for the Titan class. It is a Titan gauntlets piece.

The Titan Lightkin set is Lightkin Helm (helmet), Lightkin Gauntlets (gauntlets), Lightkin Plate (chest armor), Lightkin Greaves (leg armor) and Lightkin Mark (class item). Its exotic leg piece is The Path of Burning Steps.

Acquisition

Lightkin armor is a Season of the Splicer (Season 14) reward. The set has these listed sources, and none says which piece drops from which:

• Override, the six-player seasonal activity.
• Expunge missions, the solo Vex network missions, and Corrupted Expunge, their higher-difficulty version.
• Umbral Engrams focused at the Splicer Servitor.

Farming runs through Conflux Chests, which give Decrypted Data. Upgrading the Splicer Gauntlet makes that grind more efficient.

Xûr has stocked the set occasionally in his weekly rotation, and Season of the Splicer gear has appeared in Dares of Eternity rotation three without naming Lightkin pieces. Neither note is dated, and Season of the Splicer ran from May 11 to August 24, 2021, so these listings may not match current rotations.
