History of Lightfall—Legendary

Overview

Lightfall—Legendary is a triumph associated with the Lightfall expansion. It requires completing all eight Lightfall campaign missions on Legendary difficulty, and it awards 15 Triumph score.

How to complete

Play each of these missions on Legendary difficulty:

• First Contact
• Under Siege
• Downfall
• Breakneck
• On the Verge
• No Time Left
• Headlong
• Desperate Measures

Tips

• Legendary enemies, including bosses, deal far more damage. Take cover early and play cautiously. Difficulty scales with fireteam size, and reckless play burns revive tokens and can wipe the group.
• Clear adds early. The exotic SMG Osteo Striga with its catalyst spreads poison through enemy packs, which makes add clear much faster.
• Keep your distance from Tormentors, retreat when they close in, and shoot their crit spot from range.

Final encounters

• Under Siege: you are suppressed and lose access to your Super, so clear the adds first.
• Downfall: dunk two orbs into the pillars while enemies respawn quickly. Summon your Sparrow for the hallway run once the timer starts.
• No Time Left: destroy the suppressors with Strand abilities. Enemies in the chambers below can knock you into walls, so watch your position.
• Desperate Measures: kill all Tormentors before the first boss defeat. Surviving Tormentors do not despawn in the second phase, and one can grab you right before the boss kills you.

Rewards

At launch in 2023, completing the Lightfall campaign on Legendary also granted Exotic armor, a 1770-Power gear bundle, 8 Upgrade Modules, 300 Strand Meditations and Neomuna reputation.
