History of Light Shift

Light Shift is the intrinsic perk on Mask of Bakris. Its effects are active with an Arc or Stasis Super equipped. Your Stasis dodge is replaced by a longer, faster shift; eligible Arc and Stasis weapons and Lord of Wolves gain 10% damage per stack, up to three stacks, and weapon final blows while active grant class-ability energy.

Bungie reworked Light Shift for Edge of Fate, announced June 19, 2025 and released July 15, 2025. The change replaced its previous non-stacking Surge damage bonus.
