History of Leviathan-Eater, Bane of the Ammonites

Overview

Leviathan-Eater, Bane of the Ammonites is an Ultra-rank Hive Knight and the most powerful champion of Xivu Arath in her brood. It is known for killing the Leviathan that once graced the Ammonites, and Xivu Arath later gave it the title "Bane of the Ammonites." It is the final boss of Mission: Sunder in Season of the Witch.

Encounter

The fight opens with attacks similar to those in Mission: Conjure, and Acolytes converge on the player. At five-sixths health, Solar crystals must be deposited near Eris Morn to break its immunity shield. At half health it calls a Tomb Ship bombardment, and players must raise a shield around themselves and Eris while Thrall and Knights attack it. When the boss charges into the dome and breaks it, players can damage it again, and the final phase is a normal fight in which it occasionally summons reinforcements until it dies.
