History of Let Loose Thy Talons

Overview

"Let Loose Thy Talons" is the Season of the Hunt Exotic quest for the Hand Cannon Hawkmoon. It is given by Crow and follows "As The Crow Flies" (collecting five paracausal feathers). It has ten steps, including the missions "Cry from Beyond" and "The Crow and the Hawk".

Walkthrough

1. Play the mission "Cry from Beyond" in the Sludge, European Dead Zone, through the Hallowed Grove Lost Sector and a new tunnel reached by crouching, with thin ledges.
2. Collect 50 Orbs of Power (Super and masterworked-weapon kills; a Tangled Shore Lost Sector is also suggested).
3. Investigate coordinates at Trostland and defeat Ishrasek by throwing charges dropped by Acolytes.
4. Defeat about 200 Guardians in the Crucible (some accounts also count Gambit) or roughly 33-34 Champions in high-tier Lost Sectors or Nightfalls.
5. Complete "The Crow and the Hawk" in the Sludge, lowering the barrier and killing the boss that spawns.
6. Commune with the Traveler/hawk and defeat Ishrasek, Lightbinder of Savathûn, with the same charge-throwing mechanic; reforge Hawkmoon.

Rewards

Hawkmoon, and access to the Harbinger Exotic mission, which drops random rolls.
