History of Learning Light

Overview

Learning Light is a New Light quest given by Shaw Han in The Steppes, Cosmodrome. It unlocks after collecting Maeve's Ghost remains in the "Schism" mission. It takes about 20 minutes and leads back into "A Guardian Rises".

Walkthrough

1. Speak with Shaw Han in the Cosmodrome. He gives a rare Sniper Rifle.
2. Commune with the Traveler: follow the waypoint to the cliff (this runs the Refracted Lesson mission).
3. Return to Shaw Han and tell him what you learned.
4. Continue "A Guardian Rises" until you reach the Tower and meet Ikora Rey during the Advent mission.

Rewards

• Tower Shell legendary Ghost shell, and High Albedo sidearm from the Exo Stranger on full completion (per sources; Sirus and ProGameTalk disagree slightly on when each is granted).

Trivia

• Shaw Han says all Guardians learn to speak to the Traveler in their own way.
