History of Laurels

Laurels were the Guardian Games currency in the 2021 and 2022 events. They drop from defeating enemies with Super, grenade and melee abilities while wearing the event's class item, and they are colored by class: yellow for Warlocks, blue for Hunters and red for Titans. Players can also collect Laurels dropped for same-class fireteam members, and Daily Focus activities boost drops. The fastest source was the Guardian Games strike playlist.

Laurels are spent with Eva Levante in the Tower on Contender Cards, repeatable Guardian Games bounties and cosmetic items. Players can hold up to 500 Laurels at a time. In 2023 they were replaced by a simpler scoring system.
