History of Lake of Shadows (triumph)

Overview

Lake of Shadows is a Strike triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the completion of the Lake of Shadows strike. The triumph awards 50 Triumph score. The strike is set in the European Dead Zone and involves purging Taken and Shadow Legion forces threatening the Reservoir.

How to complete

Complete the Lake of Shadows strike. The strike has undergone significant changes since its original release.

In the original version, Guardians storm Maevic Square and the Reservoir to eliminate a Taken infestation contaminating the water supply. The operation is directed by Zavala and Devrim Kay, with assistance from Ikora Rey and Asher Mir. Objectives include pursuing the Taken, destroying Blights, and defeating the leader, Grask, the Consumed.

Following the release of Lightfall, the strike was reworked. Guardians now escort a payload using captured Pyramid technology to clear Blights. The mission involves confronting Baimogg, Unchained Wrath and defeating Gor'ath Gath to free the Reservoir from Taken control. The Shadow Legion supports the Taken in this updated iteration.
