History of Kitharodes

Overview

Kitharodes, Choral Minds are Ultra-rank Vex Hydras of the Nessian Schism faction. They appear in pairs in Breach Executable, the three-player Arena in Episode: Echoes.

Final encounter

Depending on the run, the final boss can be Tym, Guardian Slayer, Polyis, Nessian Gatelord or Rhapsoidos, Choral Mind. Against Tym and Polyis, Major Kitharodes are summoned once the boss drops to half health, and they must be defeated to remove the boss's immunity. Against Rhapsoidos, the Kitharodes sit inside two circular Vex shields. Defeat the Auletes to lower the shields around the Vex nodes, destroy the nodes to drop the shields around the Kitharodes, then defeat both Kitharodes to reveal Rhapsoidos.
