History of Kickstart

Overview

Kickstart is a Legendary weapon trait from Season 13. After you sprint for a short time and then slide, the weapon gains bonus damage and a faster charge rate for the duration of the slide.

The sources do not publish exact sprint time, damage percentage or buff duration. Sprinting and sliding also activates Sprint Grip.

Weapons

It rolls on about twenty weapons, including Dream Breaker, PLUG ONE.1, Accelerando-42, Midha's Reckoning, Exile's Curse and Iota Draconis.

Tips

Kickstart rewards movement-heavy play, since it only triggers after a sprint and slide. On Accelerando-42, a guide credits a short sprint and slide with a 20 percent charge time decrease. It is commonly paired with Slideways.
