History of Kell of Kells

Kell of Kells is a House of Rain prophecy: "The Great Machine will marvel, moved by might, and come to crown him Kell of Kells." It says the Great Machine would crown a mighty warrior to rule all Eliksni Houses. Skolas was the first prominent claimant, proclaiming himself Kell of Kells as a rallying call.

After the defeat of Fikrul in Episode: Revenant, Eramis and Mithrax were the last two living Kells. Eramis used the Echo of Riis to purify Mithrax of Nezarec's curse, then left to restore Riis, leaving Mithrax as the last living Kell. Saint-14 called him the Kell of Kells while defending the Eliksni Quarter from a Vex invasion. Destinypedia treats Mithrax's status as de facto and does not consider the prophecy fulfilled; whether it holds true "has yet to be seen."
