History of Keeper of the Deep

The Keeper of the Deep is a variant of Hive Ogre employed by the Lucent Brood. It appears in Ghosts of the Deep after a trio of Blistered Knights are slain.

Overview

The Major Keeper appears near the central statue, and killing it reveals a deepsight cloud near the central fountain. It guards the Lucent Hive ship that crashed into Titan's methane sea and is a crucial part of the fight against Ecthar, the Shield of Savathun. Its death lets players see the runes on the walls, after which Ecthar hunts submerged Guardians. The Ultra variant has no special mechanics and can be quickly dispatched.
