History of Kaniks

Kaniks, the Mad Bomber is a Fallen and one of the eight Barons of the Scorn hunted in Forsaken, formerly of the House of Exile. Destinypedia calls him arguably the least sane of the Barons; GameRant notes Bungie drew inspiration from Overwatch's Junkrat.

Overview

He was held in the Prison of Elders and freed by Uldren Sov, then operated on the Tangled Shore. In his boss fight, Target: The Mad Bomber, he throws Scorn grenades, uses teleports and a close-range Ultra Smash, and lays Splinter Mines that must be defused.

Other appearances

Destinypedia says he also appears in Kell's Fall in Episode: Revenant.

Trivia

His name is similar to Taniks but Destinypedia documents no connection between the two.
