History of Kaniks

Kaniks, the Mad Bomber is a Fallen and one of the eight Barons of the Scorn hunted in Forsaken, formerly of the House of Exile. He is known for his explosives and is often considered the least sane of the Barons.

Overview

He was one of the Barons who helped kill Cayde-6. After the Barons were captured he was held in the Prison of Elders, and Uldren Sov later freed him. Guardians eventually killed him, and Fikrul later revived him with the Echo of Riis.

Boss fight

In Target: The Mad Bomber, he throws Scorn grenades to break shields, moves rapidly and teleports, and occasionally transmats a Splinter Mine that must be defused. Staying at range and keeping moving helps avoid his explosions and his close-range Ultra Smash.

Other appearances

He is revived by Fikrul in the Fighting Pit of the Revenant Fortress in Kell's Fall, part of Episode: Revenant.

Trivia

His design has been compared to Junkrat from Overwatch. His name resembles that of Taniks.
