History of Ir Arok, Tongue of Quria

Overview

Ir Arok, Tongue of Quria is a Taken Knight of Savathûn's Brood who oversaw the Taking of the Vex on Io. They are the boss of The Long Play, a World Quest in the Dynasty storyline set at the Rupture.

Location

Ir Arok appears on Io in the Spine Burrows and in the missions Premeditation, Calculated Action and The Long Play. After a brief fight with the Guardian they retreat and build a Taken army from captured Vex.

Fight

In The Long Play, Ir Arok summons four Acolyte's Eye turrets and calls in Goblins and Hobgoblins. The wiki recommends a loadout built around mid- to long-range weapons.

Fate

The Guardian intercepts and kills Ir Arok on Io. Sources differ on the details of the ending: some Taken escape through Vex Gates into the Pyramidion.
