History of Invisible Scars

Overview

Invisible Scars is a lore entry from the Eva's Journey set. The lore database dates it to Season of the Forge (November 2018). A player thread about the set instead lists it among four entries added at the start of The Dawning, when the set reached nine entries, so the timing differs between sources.

The entry is written in third person and follows Eva. It credits no narrator.

Story

Eva is woken by a late-night call from Tess Everis, who says Cayde-6 has died after an incident at the Reef. The cause is unknown. Eva wonders whether the Legion is responsible, but Tess has no confirmed word on that.

Tess asks Eva to return to the Tower for a memorial service. She also reports that the holiday gear, including the Dawning hat, was recovered after the move to the new Tower, and that Ikora held a War's End event without her. She has been reluctant to go back. The entry ends with her looking out at the horizon and smiling at her friend.
