History of Introduction Letter, 1967

Overview

Introduction Letter, 1967 is a lore entry from the Recovered Materials, Old Chicago set, added in the Monument of Triumph update on June 9, 2026. It is a triumph with an objective to progress 5 times.

The letter is from Dr. Annalise Meyers, lead researcher on Project BLUE DOOR, to Dr. Falkner. Project BLUE DOOR was a Department of External Observation effort to build an interdimensional tunneling device. Early tests were inconclusive and the project was shelved. Director Moffat revived it to search for two missing people, Dr. Davis and Agent Yero.

The team opened a 15-centimeter tear into another dimension. It flooded the testing room with STRANGE MATTER and turned their equipment into iron filings, so they need shielding. Meyers notes that Project JUNCTION ADVANCE has trouble finding enough STRANGE MATTER for testing, so the surplus may help Falkner's team. She proposes starting the collaboration the next day.
