History of Insigne Shade Boots

Overview

Insigne Shade Boots is the Legendary leg armor piece of the Insigne Shade Shade armor set for the Warlock class. The set is one of three class armor sets from the Leviathan, Spire of Stars raid lair (Equitis Shade for Hunter, Insigne Shade for Warlock, Turris Shade for Titan). The flavor text is a message from Calus, the exiled Cabal Emperor, who in the set's lore invites Guardians to become his "Shadows".

Acquisition

Drops from the Leviathan, Spire of Stars raid lair, part of the Leviathan raid, which launched on May 11, 2018 with the Warmind expansion. One source says raid armor comes from the encounter chest; the other does not detail encounters. Craftable, Adept, focusing and reissue status are not stated by the sources opened. The raid lair was sunset when Beyond Light released on November 10, 2020, per one source; whether this armor was affected is not stated.
