History of Inotam, Oblivion's Triune

Inotam, Oblivion's Triune is the final boss of the Sundial activity, added in Season of Dawn. Sources disagree on how it forms: Destinypedia describes the three Psion Flayers merging into one, while a Shacknews guide describes the Psions appearing briefly before Inotam replaces them. Each third of its health lost sends the fireteam to fight one Psion Flayer in a separate arena. On return, players must claim Sync Plates against incoming Cabal attackers, with one more plate each time; claiming all plates removes Inotam's shield. Defeating Inotam unlocks the Flayer Slayer and Inotam's Ruin triumphs, which help unlock the Dawn title.
