History of Illyn

Overview

Illyn is an Awoken Techeun Coven Mother from the Reef, known as Wise Illyn. She served Mara Sov as Coven Mother of the last seven Techeuns who attended the Queen, and she helped Mara and Riven shape the Dreaming City.

Lore

Illyn's work for the Queen included:

• Producing Queensfoil tinctures that let Guardians enter the Ascendant Realm, and helping build Mara's Throne World, Eleusinia.
• Directing the placement of young Harbingers in the Dreadnaught before the Battle of Saturn.
• Working with the Techeuns to control Taken energies for use in Guardian armor.
• Taking part in the Techeuns' attempt to contact Shuro Chi. She is presumed dead after that attempt, with the Techeuns present believed killed.
