History of Illuminus Mask (Magnificent)

Overview

Illuminus Mask (Magnificent) is a Legendary Helmet for Hunters and the top-tier helmet of the Hunter Illuminus set from Solstice of Heroes 2021. It is Armor. The item's in-game text says that completing Vanguard Ops on Master or Grandmaster difficulty enables its white glow.

Acquisition

Earned by upgrading Illuminus Mask (Majestic) to the Magnificent tier during Solstice of Heroes 2021 (see Solstice Armor). The 2021 step guide from Shacknews lists a Master or Grandmaster Nightfall for this helmet's Magnificent step, which differs from the item's in-game glow text. Upgrade tasks are tracked on the armor itself. The Magnificent tier was exempt from the 3 August 2021 cutoff and could be completed afterwards, provided the earlier tiers were already done (Inverse).
