Overview
The Illicit Collector Mark is a Legendary Titan Mark for the Titan class. It is in the Armor category and carries the set's intrinsic Collector +1. Its flavor text reads: "When the end comes… Will you scrounge for him, Titan?" It is part of the Illicit Collector set.
The Illicit Collector set is the Collector role armor of Gambit Prime, the single-round variant of Gambit introduced in Season of the Drifter. Every Illicit Collector piece has the intrinsic Collector +1, which unlocks the set perks when several pieces are equipped. Each Illicit piece adds 1 role point, so a full Illicit set reaches +5. Collector role perks unlock at 3, 6, 10 and 15 points: Inheritance, Umbral Armor, Cashback and High-Yield Savings. Cashback gives Kinetic and Energy ammo when Motes are banked, and High-Yield Savings lets the player carry up to 20 Motes, enough to send a Giant Blocker to the enemy team. Reports from 2019 differ on whether Inheritance or Umbral Armor drops Motes on death, and which grants an overshield for rapid pickup.
Acquisition
Xûr sells it. Gambit Prime and The Reckoning were vaulted with the release of Destiny 2: Beyond Light. Gambit Prime armor was earned from The Reckoning, a PvE activity for squads of up to four players. A player first needed the Weak Synthesizer, which converts a Synth into a Mote. Banking that Mote at the start of The Reckoning and beating the final boss turned it into an armor piece. The armor type is guaranteed, but the specific piece is random. Illicit is the base tier of the Reckoning armor, and the Outlawed and Notorious tiers unlock by completing higher Reckoning tiers. It cannot be reacquired from Collections.
