History of Illicit Armor

Overview

Illicit is the lowest rarity tier of Gambit Prime armor. Each piece adds +1 light level, so a full Illicit set reaches only +5 and cannot activate the second set perk, which needs +6. The higher tiers are Outlawed Armor (+2 per piece) and Notorious (+3 per piece).

Acquisition

Pieces are random within the role chosen when a Gambit Prime armor synthesis is made. A dated guide notes that Outlawed and Notorious are unlocked by completing higher tiers in The Reckoning. That guide does not explain how Illicit is unlocked, so requirements may have changed since it was written.
