History of Icefall Mantle

Icefall Mantle is Exotic gauntlets for Titans, introduced in Destiny 2: Beyond Light (Season 12) alongside the Stasis subclass.

Overview

Exotic perk Glacial Guard: your Barricade becomes a personal overshield (Frost Armor). Activating it sends out a burst that freezes or slows nearby combatants. While the shield is up you are slowed and Barricade does not recharge. Bonus Frost Armor is also granted on rapid Stasis final blows with a Stasis Super. Reported wording of the perk differs between references, and the item may have been reworked since release.

Acquisition

• Rare drop from solo Legend and Master Lost Sectors.
• Re-obtainable via Exotic armor focusing / Exotic engrams once unlocked in Collections.
